Minor in Linguistics

18 Hours of Course Work to include:

Two foundational courses

  • ENG/LIN 211 Introduction to Linguistics I
  • ENG/LIN 212 Introduction to Linguistics II

At least two (2) of the following:

  • LIN 318 Semantics and Pragmatics
  • ENG/LIN 512 Modern English Grammar
  • ENG/LIN 513 Teaching English as a Second Language
  • ENG/LIN 515 Phonological Analysis
  • ENG/LIN 516 Grammatical Analysis

Two (2) courses to complete the Minor:

  • Choose from LIN courses
