Jack Carter
MALTT, 2018
John Carter (better known as Jack) is a 2018 graduate of the UK MALTT program. He grew up in Pikeville, KY and began studying Spanish at the age of 15. Being an avid learner of languages, Jack knew he wanted to pursue graduate studies in Linguistics to better understand language as a larger concept.
When not studying Linguistics, Jack spends his time working with music. Apart from singing and playing the piano, he also composes electronic music in a variety of genres. He intends to continue perfecting his musical skills for the rest of his life.
